Having just gone through one of the most persistent winters I can remember, and the first winter with our new Classic Metal Roof, we are very happy with it. Not only diid we have a fairly heavy snow load on the roof, several times, we have had torrential down pours and high winds in excess of 50 to 60 mph. The new roof held off the elements and looks as good as it did on day one. Loud? No, I wouldn't say it's loud at all. And it doesn't sound like we are in a can or something. I have to admit, I do love the sound of rain, though, and even more so since the new roof. When it pours, I mute any noise just so I can listen. And it can really pour here, but I never feel like I'm drowned out by the noise. LOVE! IT! :) Michele, Kentucky
