The tax credits for energy-efficient metal roofing that passed in 2009 as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act do continue through 2010.

This tax credit is available to homeowners who have Energy Star Certified metal roofing applied to their primary residence. The tax credit is based on 30% of the materials value, with a cap of $1,500.00. Most homes qualify for the maximum credit.

Because it is a tax credit and not a deduction, qualifying homeowners get the entire credit refunded to them, or reduced from their tax burden (whichever may be the case). Please consult your tax professional for complete details.

At Classic Metal Roofing Systems of Kentuckiana we are very pleased to be able to continue to offer homeowners beautiful, lifetime metal roofing that qualifies for this tax credit. Nearly all of our standard colors (including all the most popular) do qualify.
